Psychological services are not covered by OHIP. However, many extended health benefit plans provide reimbursement for psychological services. Additionally, costs for psychological services that have not been reimbursed by an extended health benefit plan are eligible to claim for tax deductions as medical expenses on your personal income tax filing.

For some services (e.g., MVA insurance, WSIB), our rates are determined by these third party payers and our team is here to help complete the necessary paperwork to facilitate direct payment from these providers. For all other services, our fees are informed by the Ontario Psychological Association’s recommended hourly rate. Specific rates and rate structure (i.e., hourly versus flat rate) will depend on service provided (i.e., assessment versus treatment).
