  • Dr. Elissa Dua, Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Dua completed her Ph.D. in School and Counseling Psychology at the State University of New York – University at Buffalo. She holds a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from St. John’s University in New York. Her research focused on social skills training and assessment measures for the accurate screening and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders.

    Dr. Dua works with children, adolescents, and families. She has clinical training and experience working with individuals and their families with a wide range of difficulties such as social skills deficits, challenging behaviours, mood and anxiety disorders, and learning struggles. She has extensive training and experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, as well as training in applied behaviour analysis (ABA). She has been working with teachers, students and families within the Ontario school boards to achieve student success. Dr. Dua has experience using various treatment modalities and therapies, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments.
