CLINICAL NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST (PEDIATRIC/ADOLESCENT)
Storrie, Velikonja and Associates provides psychological and neuropsychological assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services that are client-centred, evidence-based, and outcome-oriented in our full-service practice and three multidisciplinary specialty clinics located in Burlington.
Our growing practice requires a Clinical Neuropsychologist with specialization in Pediatrics.
The Neuropsychologist will be responsible for:
- Clinical interviewing
- Neuropsychological assessment
- Diagnosis and treatment recommendations in a comprehensive assessment report format
- Treatment and/or rehabilitation
- Documentation (i.e., clinical record)
- Monitoring treatment efficacy and the provision of timely updates
- Maintenance of accurate caseload statistics
- Participation in quality management and practice evaluation activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or M.A. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current certificate of registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, or under/eligible for supervised practice
- Experience in neuropsychological assessment and treatment of children and/or adolescence in accordance with current evidence-based best practices
- Demonstrated adherence to professional practice standards
- Commitment to continuing education
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance

PSYCHOMETRIST
We are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a part-time psychometrist, conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments. The Psychometrist will be responsible for:
- Administration and scoring of psychoeducational and/or neuropsychological test measures
- Documentation of testing procedures and observations (i.e., preparation of behavioural test observations)

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters or Bachelor degree in Psychology or related field (Masters preferred)
- Experience in psychoeducational and neuropsychological test administration and scoring (pediatric and geriatric experience considered an asset)
- Experience with, or willingness to work with, various tablet-based standardized test materials such as Q-Interactive
- Ability to work in both process and battery approaches to assessment
- Ability to work with patients who are cognitively and behaviourally compromised
- Excellent computer skills and database management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and initiative
- Ability to work with a variety of clinicians and adjust assessment batteries accordingly
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve effectively
- Commitment to ongoing learning and skill development
